For Matías' work, order and coordination are fundamental. During the harvest season, Matías provided harvesting service to several orchards simultaneously. For Matias, it is essential to give a good harvest labor service for his customers, keeping a meticulous record of everything. Throughout his career as a contractor, Matías used pencil and paper to register and track deliveries made by his harvesters. Mismatching in scanning was an everyday challenge. The methodology that Matías used was rudimentary. At the orchards where he worked, Matías had a checker next to the team of pickers. A single team could exceed 60 pickers for a single checker, and the total number of boxes recorded by the checker rarely matched the ones harvested. After the end of the workday, the checkers sent a photo of the spreadsheets with the day's records to Matías, which he transcribed to an Excel spreadsheet.   This process resulted in time loss and, commonly, typing errors. The added value of Matías is not in passing data to Excel but in growing his business.
